Ok. I'll go over and pick them up. Anyone know if they'll carry these or if they need to order them? and if they need to order, will they be in tomorrow? The brakes are coming in tomorrow, so I wanna toss them on..

Are they different bolts too? To hold the calipers on I mean..

And are those lines a super easy install?

Have you ever heard of a dealer having *any* parts you need in stock.. My best guess is that they'll need ordered, which will take awhile. You can try and see if the lines are long enough. Just make sure and test the reach with the wheels at full lock each side to make sure the fronts don't pull.

The lines aren't bad if the stockers are gaulled up. You need to bleed the breaks anyways because you're replacing the calipers. I think bleeding brakes is a PITA anyways lo.

So you're saying try them as is? If they work, bonus. If not, just order them and wait a month for them to come?

That would be my suggestion... I'd say you could get them within a week from somewhere. Or just buy stainless lines and be done.

Success. I called the local dealer and they'll have 2 t/c hoses in for me tomorrow morning. So tomorrow evening, if all goes well, I'll be the first 2.4 with Brembos.

Keep me updated. if I can ever get out from all these medical bills I accrued yesterday (had to go to ER, ugh) I'm going to Brembos for the turbo. Stopping is a good idea when you can do 130 quickly.

The Brembos are on. And you do need the SS t/c lines. Just for reference.

They're whatever was in the kit.. I think they're just the stock SS t/c ones.. They look to be a high quality rotor.. And the pads were just in there..

Yeah, loving them.. Last night I didn't feel too well, so I couldn't even enjoy them on the way home.. But today I'll be able to check them out more.. But the pedal feel and braking feel is incredible.. The combo of bigger brakes up front, new flex hoses, and all new fluid feels incredible!

yeah they are an improvement, but you might eventually want to go to slotted rotors because when you get them wet they suck big time

I believe you had a question about the rear brakes? The TC rears are almost as big as the SS/SC's fronts lol. But you'll be fine... The front brakes do 80% of the breaking.

You need to post some pics!

So the SS t/c rears are actually bigger too? For some reason I thought they were the same.. But yeah, they feel fine as-is..

haha Yeah.. I like the IRL wheels alot.. The car is already pretty damn low, but the struts are about shot, so hopefully when the FE5's go on, it won't raise it a good bit.. It's on Sportlines now.. But maybe it just looks a little higher fro mthe driveway and the e-brake? haha But thanks!

I was considering getting them done low gloss black. But I'm still on the fence. I like the chrome, but if you see the wheels up close, they're taken a beating, so I just may to freshen them up..

Once I get the valve cover done, and the t/c grille set, I'm gonna likely enter COTM for the first time.. I think it's about ready.. lol
