Broken OE Rear springs

Has anyone in he history of ever had this happen? My 05 LS has broken rear coils. The shocks are shot now also.

I have a WTB out for SS springs, but I was simply curious if anyone had seen this?

I am going to replace the shocks and struts in the next week or two, but now. need to add springs to the shopping list.

Ill post a pic or two of the carnage after I get them replaced. Of all the cars I have owned, I havent seen this before. Especially on something this new(ish).

The roads in MN are in particularly terrible shape though, and I dont know much about this cars history before me. Sometimes I wonder if the CarFax was doctored and the Odo was replaced with a lower mileage one...

I've seen it happen on various platforms, had a BMW in the shop the other day with both rear springs broken. It happens once you start getting corrosion in the metal, fatigue cracks set in and it just snaps off pretty easily.

^^^ after time, the LS break coils at the rear, not a shock. Suggest you buy Basswaves springs sounds like a good deal.
