Any with the sportlines...

I car got lowered the other day.. And I just noticed that the front wheels are out a little bit on the front (the top if in, the bottom is out)... Now the car is in alignment cause it steers straight and the wheel is straight and stuff.

I am wondering is anyone else wheels out a little bit as well... I mean it's not out alot... Now maybe I am just looking at it weird and I am gonna check out my friends SS.. But the other thing is I just put my 18s back on, but the car was aligned with the 16" winter wheels..

Can anyone let me know if your is the same.. I might just go get the alignment re-checked..

 

with my stock 18s on they seem a little angled but not much. My 19s i believe sit straight...i dunno

 

It will have a bit of Negative camber (not toe as you call it), mine does but after driving all summer and fall with the stock Pirellis I see no abnormal wear on the inner edge (sign of excessive neg camber).

 

just got mine aligned today with the same problem. He said it' s not off by much. Can we get a camber kit for this car.

Ok that clears things up.. I just thought that I was the only one lol.. As long as there is no abnormal, then it's not a big deal... I was just thinkin about it from a wear on my tires way. since it still drives straight....

 

our cars come form the factory with camber dont worry its normal plus lowering your car will make it more so for fixing it it all depends on what u want to set your car up for straight line or auto-x if straight line aka drag racing take camber out and vice versa

 

As I said my tires have NO abnormal wear so don't sweat it, you want a bit of negative camber anyway. I have the camber bolts from Eibach in my trunk and I may use them when I change out the struts.

 

Yeah, the car naturally has negative camber and tires and everything wear just fine because the car is set up for it. However, you can always have it checked on an alignment rack if you're really nervous about it.

Ninja's also right about the toe. Toe refers to where the wheels point when the steering is straight. Example:


:front of car:
/---\ is toe in




\---/ is toe out

 

But that is what my wheels look like... /---\ ... That is why I said Toe.. Cause they point like that. But not like a angle like that.. But the car is still steering straight..

So what is the difference between negative camber and toe?

 

when I got my car aligned after my Sprint spring install, my toe was the most out of wack...camber was not even as issue and can't be just adjusted much anyway.

just some thought, maybe get it rechecked to make sure everything is good...but if its within the factory recommended range then don't sweat it.
