Car pulls to the right.

Hi guys!

I have a Cobalt 2005, 2.2 coupe. Got trouble with suspension (or body) after accident. Another car hit the front right wheel and right door. Steering knuckle was broken, outer and inner tie rod, sway bar link, lower control arm were deformed, strut damaged. I have replaced these parts and strut on left side, new strut mounts also. After wheel alignment (toe in) car pulls to the right.

I have made some measurements. The length between front lower control arms (ball joints) and rear axle brackets (rear mounts) are different for both sides. But length from rear axle brackets to the front frame mounts are the same.

So, I need some charts and I need to know length from strut to strut (I don't know what it's called), so look at the pics. Please help me.

Dude your car was hit and it damaged major suspension parts, honestly the chance of you car being straight after are slim.

That said, there is a thread here somewhere that talks about the strut top and being aligned properly, if it's not it causes a pull, don't ask me how it's suposed to go I have no idea. My cars pulled left after a spring swap for like 5 years. Maybe look at that

The only thing adjusted in the alignment was toe? There has to be either caster or camber out if its pulling. Get a real alignment.

well seems obvious to me that the right side (ball joint to rear hub) is shorter than the same measurement on the left side. which would make it pull right. you need to figure out what is not right, and it may very well be the K-Member

did you replace the steering rack? did you replace both control arms? If you installed an FE5 arm on one side (alloy) and left steel the other side, then there is an issue as the castor is different and the wheel base will be different as alloy arms must be installed in pairs.
the posters here gave you good advice.

First of all thank you guys! Ok, replaced only right side FE1 stamped steel front lower control arm (Dorman 521-322). Steering rack not replaced (looks good). Toe in, caster, camber adjusted but I need to know length between struts. I have a 345-346.2 inches. So, can someone did the measure like on pic.

Why? Look at the dent behind strut mount.

Can anybody help me? I do not know anyone on cobalt to ask him.

Your ***** fucked.... I just went outside and took a quick look at my left front strut and bulkhead, I don't see ANY dents or bends or buckles. Take your car to a body shop with receipts for what you replaced and call your insurance....
