Mind you these are the top of my head.
Ive been running the BC SPORT coilovers for some time now. And highly recommend them for an amazing coilover setup.
Here are a couple key questions you need to ask yourself...
1) Do you really think a coilover setup will enhance your cornering, and performing what you think now seems impossible?
- If so, your gonna be very dissapointed when you corner just a tad bit harder than you should have. Coilover will enhance your car, but it really comes down to you; the stock suspension has been proven over and over to compete, and compete well.
2) Do you just want a drop? And, do you just drive it for racing the usual ricer on the street who messes with you?- If so, save yourself A LOT of money, and consider lowering springs (EXAMPLES: EIBACHS, PROGRESS).
3) Do you plan on using the ability to raise and lower the front strut bodies and or rear springs/shocks for weight transfer when launching at a track? As well as utilizing the 32 way adjustable dampening feature on specific coilover setups?
- If so, air bags are a great choice for this due to how quickly they inflate. Though coilovers are an excellent option for this too; it just requires an extra bit of your time and patience.
I'm not frowning on coilovers one bit. I absolutely love them, but I made a pre-mature choice when purchasing them. If I could go back, I would just have gotten springs and called it a day. The cornering on some springs in combo with a front strut bar, and rear sway bar would still have been more than satisfactory for my liking.
Good luck with your purchase

u cant go wrong with KW's or B+G great setups. just the extra dampening alone from the shocks are worth it. u can leave the car at stock height or near it and adjust the dampening on the shocks and the handling will improve, also keep in mind if u want to corner better look at ur tires, those will help big time. factory perelli's suck. go with some BFG KDW 2's. I my self plan on getting B+G as they offer 32 way dampening, ride hieght adjustable, and the shocks them selves can be shortened to allow full travel so u dont bottem out. also Life time warranty is a plus.
