Coilover spring rates

Been thinking about the BC RM inverted mono tube setup, I know out the box these are 6k/6k but I hear the spring rates can be changed out at no charge so whats the ideal setup to run

6k front 7k rear?

You should have a ton of options for the Solstice, like non-retrofitted Penskes, Ohlins, AST 5000, custom Bilsteins, KW v3, etc.

We tried the bcs as a budget option and are totaly unsatisfied.....we sell the penske setup but they are only set for stock ride height. Anze has taken an interest in the car so they will be building a set of coilovers for us. Will be an awesome setup

Sounds like you need to do some more research. Your probably not going to find the answer here.

What are you going to be using the car for? All out track, auto-x, or just something to get low on the street?

but theres a zillion comments on here that say just the opposite

also do you have the br or the rm type, that makes a difference also, and which spring rates do you have?

Im riding around right now on eibach sportlines so I doubt the ride will be worse

Im mainly into street handling, as much ride comfort as I can and low ride height, only racing I do is drag racing so the ability to turn up the dampening in teh rear to full stiff to eliminate rear end squat on launches is key

That's because most people on here really don't know the difference. They've only ever had one set of coilovers so of course they're happy with them.

For drag racing you need drag bags out back. You shouldn't rely on coilovers alone. Just get hsd or stances as I feel for all these crap coilovers out those are the best for street use.
