coilover vs koni/sportlines

I am trying to figure out the reliability of these two set ups compared to one another. I am not asking about the price, i simply want to know which would provide the most consistent ride quality over a, lets say, 2-3 year period.
thanks in advance

Coilovers will offer height adjustability, making them in a league of their own when compared to Sportlines paired with Koni's. Plus, i've heard that adjusting the dampening on the rear Koni's is downright impossible, lol.

Coilovers FTW

coilovers kick ass man, the fact that you can dial in the perfect stance fo your car , combined with the ability to adjust the stiffness front and back plus bieng able to adjust camber just makes coilovers that much better than any other setup.

I have koni's and I couldnt be happier. They are adjustable and the ride isnt bad at all and you get a lifetime warrenty, depending on where you live you may not have to adjust your ride height. Coilovers are great as well usually great handling but then to be more stiff unless you go with B+G and then you have to buy the chamber kits so it depends if you have local memebers around you ask them to drive you around with their setups. For me I went with koni's due to realiblity and ride. BTW the rear isnt impossible to adjust.

Most of the Coilovers wont give you a lifetime warrenty on the shock (most 1 or 2 years max) Koni will send replacements and part very quickly. Thats why I bought the Konis and Sportlines. Good ride good handling and warrenty that is longer than I will own the car. I talked to one of the aftermarket companys on this forum and he told me that coilover are can be great but when a customer calls him with and issue most often it takes along time to get parts or they wont cover it. He also said that he has never had any bad dealings with Koni if there was a problem they always corrected it promtly. And yes they sell three different brands of coilovers and Konis

BG coilover from Granva are great peices but will run $1300.

But it up to you its your car and your money

i appreciate the responses and its good to know that koni has such great customer service. what i am hoping for is that they will come out with a non adjustable shock for less and then i will just go the sportlines and koni direction. coilovers would be nice but i think a little to much for my purposes.

B&G's FTW, fully adjustable spring, adjustable dampening and shock height is adjustable as well to give u more shock travel so it doesnt bottom out. plus u get life time warranty.

32 points of adjustment K-SPORT FTW, but hey just IMO. but coilovers hands down as far as i'm concerned. B7G are good, K-SPORTS are awesome, pretty much can't go wrong with either of those.

this is just making it even harder to decide which way to go. it seems that the products i am looking at are great quality but koni and the sportlines seem to have my attention. the price is better and i know both companies have a good reputation for quality and customer relations. thanks for the help and any other opinions are welcome.
