Coils binding

Anyone here on coilovers? Small issue when turning specifically on the passenger side. It sounds like the actual coils popping rather than the axles binding...will try raising them an inch at a time but any input would be great

HSD. They are about 2 inches from being bottomed out and everything is nice and tight

I saw a FB post where a guy with HSD coils, the strut shaft broke from the entire lower strut body.

I can’t remember if we pre loaded them or not. We swapped my rear axle assembly at the same time so I was pretty tired lol. Maybe I’ll do that and see what happens first

Adjusted preload and tried playing with the camber on these coils a bit. Passenger side still creeks but no near as bad now.

you shouldn't have to adjust the preload. unless you messed with the spring and upper locking rings. the height adjustment is on the lower knuckle piece.

I never pre loaded them at all before. It’s half as annoying now lol. I know how to adjust the height

Not sure what the pivot part is called at the top of the coil but all I did was grease it and it’s fine now lol. For some reason there was a bit of movement causing it to sound like the coil was popping
