I'd just get a file and shave some of that off. I had to do that to my rx7.

I installed mine tonight and had the same problem. The fix is simple. Simply remove the third nut on the passenger side strut tower and jack up the passenger side of the car. The bolts will realign themselves and fit right in. I wouldnt want to shave anything.

pretty strange they ship out parts that all need to be modified to fit...

Too often, those big company dont really care about customer service after they sell something

Some of this is not DC's fault. With me working in the automotive industry as a supplier, it can be difficult to make sure that things fit perfectly. The sheet metals tolerance is +/- 5 mm. We have been told that if there are within 8 mm of nominal, that it is a good day. This can cause major issues when trying to line up things.

+1!! you need to unload the strut towers of any load to make sure that its going to fit right. That strut mount is the load bearing point in the suspension of the whole front of the vehicle!

jack up the front end of the car off the ground by the frame and let the front suspension hang.

If you read the directions that it comes with it states that you may have to jack up the passenger side of the car to get the strut bolts to align back to center so that the bar will fit. Almost everyone that I know that has this bar said they had to do that, including myself. I did notice a small improvement, but like everyone else says its nothing drastic. If you got a sway bar kit you would probably notice more improvement.
