dc VZ mrz stb

ok well it seems like the two most pop Strut tower bars are the DC and the MRZ . now the MRZ one cost alot more but it def has the nice bling factor(dont care about bling under the hood). Now i did a search and couldnt find any worth while post on comparing the two. Do they both do the same job, does one perform better then other one, is one easier to install.

also there has been much debait if you install them with the wheels on the ground or both jacked up. Also what is the proper spec for the bolts which u must undo to reinstall. as in trq spec when u tighten them down

+Yes, they do the same job

+Depends, Not many people push their cars to feel the difference (MRZ is beefer, and perferred by many over the DC)

+Both installs are similar because both do the same job.

Results: MRZ>DC
Why: The MRZ strut bar ,along with performing its intended job, looks nicer, is beefer, and is customizable.

Awesome, so basicly as long as your not Auto crossing your car and just performing normal to aggressive daily driving you will not be able to tell the difference via performance, basicly untill you pop the hood and your blinded by the bling of the MZR bar.....

ok thanks guys, i think im going to go with the DC bar, this is my DD and having chrome under the hood would be a waste.... just as long as the DC bar is good quality.
it tells you in the instructions what the tq spec is...
yeah i didnt think about that. the STB i put on came with no instructions, it was on my old CTS

ok well i changed my mind, i didnt notice that MRZ has a non polished one for only 139 the DC bar is like 109 so for 20 more bucks i can get the MRZ one, it does look way beefier..

is it hard to install it looks lik it gets real light around the fuse box

Its real easy to install. No more than 10 minutes. Pop off the old nuts, put the feet onto the bar (MRZ bar), tighten the one down, and then slide it through. Instructions are great that come with the MRZ one.
