good thing people comment on the monroes already. i was like 99% sure i was getting them until i talked to lsjbody (i think) he recommended me to go with the SS/TC struts and shocks. im busting my ass off even more at work putting every extra min of O/T i can get and pushing sales to the fullest to get a crap load of commission . i have money now to pay for it but i always need that back up money.
The spacers are easy...here's a link to TTR and a link to OTT...the spacers do exactly what they say...increase the space...you just pull a bolt out and put the spacer in and replace the bolt...it's very simple. Best to do it when lowering or replacing struts.

I never thought of steering rack spacers when I got my sportlines installed. I just read up on them & they seem to help out a lot with bump steer.
So it's "best" to install them as you're getting lowering springs installed or new struts? Is there any harm in installing them if you've had sportlines for 2 years?

No there's no harm at all...I'm just saying it because you are messing with your steering rack which means if you move too much around you will need an alignment...since you have to get an alignment after installing springs and/or struts, you might as well install them at that time.
I've had my Sportlines on for over a year and a half now...I won't be installing mine until I do my struts this spring/summer. That way it's all done at once and I only need one alignment because what I'm saying is there is a chance (maybe not a very big one) that you'll need to do an alignment after messing with the spacers.
The following is the idea behind the spacers...it's a quote directly from OTT's website:
When you lower your car the whole knuckle, strut and wheel assembly move up into the wheel well. The outer tierod ends move up with everything else, this causes unwanted bump steer. The solution is to install these spacers that are cnc machined from 6061 aluminum, they work by raising the steering rack back up to the same height as the outer tierod ends.
So the whole point of them is to get the rack to an equal height as the outer tierod ends...it helps out with toe-in on the car. When you eliminate the toe-in you eliminate the bump steer that you feel when going over bumps (the pulling to one side or the other).
