Eibach to Pedders?
OTTP's site says Pedders lower the front 1.5" and the rear 1.6". The sportlines say 2.0" front and 2.5" rear drop. That would mean 0.5" front difference and 0.9" rear difference. I dunno if those numbers are necessarily correct though.
I am pretty sure those drop specs are quoted from the LS Cobalts not the SS. The difference in numbers from the sportlines to the Pedders is about half and inch to an inch. How low is the front compared to stock?
I just ordered my Pedders Springs and steering rack spacers from OTTP.
. OTTP Hardcore rear anti sway bar will be ordered by next month.

ya dont need a spring compressor.
loosen but do not remove main strut nut 21mm
jack car put on stands.
put jack under control arm with tension
undo knuckle to strut bolts and nuts 18mm. do not remove bolts. place abs bracket to one side
remove drop link at strut.
go back up remove big nut and then go back down
remove knuckle bolts relax jack
remove strut and change spring. make note of where everything is. the tab on the top spring hat goes to the inside. check thrust bearing and regrease
reassemble in reverse.
check with maven that this is correct.

just a quick glance over what i've read so far.
the sway bars do have an issue of walking in the bushings. not much of a lateral constraint was put in place. cost save.
they can, do, and will rub on the LCA.
i do like johns idea of messed up install as far as the hat and spring interlocking.

considering it seems to only happen at full lock, i could see an interference issue here.
I'll defer to what john says, hes got the most practical experience by far.
True, i always listen to what john says, so i'll give it a look see, but i have a feeling the sway bar is shifted. just my opinion, because i've driven that car quite a few times, and it just seems that if it were the spring to spring had alignment, there would be more noticeable noises or feelings.

the new induction placed units are less, but still.
in a world where the bean counters have far more say then the engineering force, **** like this runs rampant.
PS-
Term, love the sig quote!
not necessarily, its just a compromised design. an anti-walk ring would be nice, but that's a $1 or so a piece for the good one.(mssc had some awesome stuff)

I was gonna do the same for you Marisa, but i know i remember seeing a mark on your control arm where the sway bar hit it. It could be a number of things, sorry we didn't get around to it when you were over here the other day.
