i asked the same question but got nothing helpful so i ordered the sportlines. the guy told me that they wear out ur shocks faster and you need an alignment.

On anything other than an SS say hello too bouncy ride and say goodbye to your struts.

i bought the eibach sportlines and right after install i took my car to les schwab for an alignment, and they put the car up and checked it out and told me that it was perfectly fine and did not need an alignment. they charged me nothing and sent me on my way.

i put the sportlines on my car and it had a little negative camber and the toe angle was out, it took me blowing a right front to get an alignment to figure this out. It turned out great b/c now i have some really great tires that wear better, performbetter, and look better (Eagle F1 GS-D3). This is ust my experience, obviously it seems that each experience is a little different. Overall you will enjoy the sportlines and so what if it wears your struts out, there are only two and will give you good reason to upgrade more! So, TO EACH HIS OWN!!!

well as far as i know the stock struts will be fine if the drop is only around an inch and will take a while to wear out for normal driving years maybe

the LS sits higher than the SS, so the stock struts should last longer on the SS right? 1"-2" drop, i think i may chance it. the car needs to be closer to the ground. right now im just a sailboat anytime theres a crosswind on the highway.
