Hey guys, so I'm currently in the process of saving up for FE5 shocks and struts from Crate Engine Depot, but from what I've been reading, the KYB Excel G shocks and struts are about as good as the SS/TC FE5 setup, is this true? Would I be better off getting the KYB and saving about a hundred dollars?

I've been debating the excel g since I can get them at cost. Which leaves the Fe5's being a decent amount more.

 

Hmm so the KYB would be a better value? Because I have an 05 SS/SC, and I'm going to be putting SSC lowering springs on whatever new struts and shocks I get, I need to get ready for autocross season haha.

 

I wouldn't get either of those if you plan on autox. Konis and YYZ. Life is going to suck on the SSC, if you actually want the car to turn.

 

I called our local supplier and he said kyb lists these for only the 2.2 and 2.4 not the 2.0. So they are not comparable to the 2.0 LNF FE5 struts
