Funky noises

driving home today from class, my car started making an odd sound like i had a flat tire, and it felt like i had a flat tire too. About a week ago, my shop said my Koni strut had an unusual amount of play in the stock housing, and suggested i call Koni and get it replaced under warranty. Could these two issues be related? (no, i definitely dont have a flat tire). Thats the only guess I have as to this odd noise/feeling ive been experiencing.

I checked my sway bar because that was my first thought (thought maybe it snapped the end links or something), everything's hooked up fine though. Any ideas anyone?

so, i found out what it was. I didnt notice it at the time, but 2 of my lug nut studs (or wheel studs or w/e) snapped off. Thats why it sounded like i had a flat...the rim wasn't flush against the hub.
Got em replaced today for $60

Always a good to re-torque once after 50 or so miles if a wheel has been off.
