hey, I didn't know where to post this, so thanks for your patience and your help

my dad drives an 00-04 taurus, not sure which year exactly
i will be replacing the front springs for him, and I've never done it before
what tools will I need, how hard is it, and what are some tips for replacing a front spring?
i assume the basic principles are the same, I am thinking of buying a Chilton & Haynes Manual
