getting blown out?

2007 LS Coupe
currently has 33,400 miles
has had eibach pro-kit on for the last 10-15k with moog FE5 sway bar endlinks and OTTP rack spacers
stock shocks and struts

now when i turn at slow speeds and compress the front suspension (especially when just turning around in my driveway) i hear what sounds to be air being released from around the front driver side. now the roads i daily drive are by no means smooth so it wouldn't surprise me if something would be blown but i think it's a little early for only this amount of miles... i guess 1 day this week i'll have to pull the wheel off and see if it's leaking at all.

any other ideas or thoughts?

It is 5yrs old, so there is a chance the struts are blown, just get the FE5 replacements from the SS/TC

Coilovers will be at least double what the FE5 struts are. If you want low go coils but if you want more performance get koni yellows for the rear at least

I didn't know struts could go in 5 years... Hmm I've got 70,000 miles maybe that's why my ride is shitty..

well after looking at it in my garage it looks like the passenger side strut is leaking out the bottom a little, drivers side just has some grease towards the top. cleaned it up the best i could so i'll check it in about a week and see if it's back again. i guess i may have to start looking up some prices on different stuff and figure out if i just want FE5 on the springs i have, FE5 with Pedders, FE5 with CM springs, or coilovers. i was hoping i wouldn't have to make this decision for a while yet

so i'm probably going to either go with the CED FE5 package and SSC/CM springs or just get a set of coilovers... i have a fair amount saved up from side work/ graduation money/ and a birthday coming up next week so we'll see what happens. i been wanting a little bit lower anyways but still want really good handling too so idk

My ls has 72k on the struts/shocks and I have been on lowered suspension(cut, Tenzo's, SS/TC's, cut no name aftermarket) since the 5k mark. My front passenger leaks slightly but the rest are good. Did you cut your bumpstops? I didn't.
