Handling Thread

OK. By popular demand: "The Cobalt Handling Thread".
I'll start:

Cobalt SS/TC - Stock setup = very good.

My mods: Pedders Springs, OTTP Stage 1 tranny mount, Powell Hardcore Bar, Power Grid Endlinks, Trailing Control Arm Bushings, Powell Under
Carriage Rails = Wicked Handling!

Others have mentioned Koni rear shocks set 1/4 turn from full soft.

Today I installed new spherical arms L and T. Noticeably better. I also installed the latest version NON delrin L cabs on MotoGP's car and he phoned within 15 minutes saying that the difference was noticeable.

what does this do? These parts help reduce friction in the lower control arm allowing it to move up and down easily. With the significantly reduced friction, the cars suspension works better as intended. Even with stiffer lowering springs, the ride is better on the road; track performance is awesome.

You're enticing me to spend more money Mr. Powell. May be up your way in September. Might have to drop by, unless you're down here first.

Are those new LCabs winter-proof?

there are two versions. the 199 set with the upgraded bushings are good but the jury is out until next spring lol.

the complete new arms with sphericals are 1000.00 a pair; too much for most folks. totally winter proof.

Don"t have Koni's yet but Ronn likes 'em. I'm sure he'll chime in.
