HELP: Knocking Sound when turning

Well my 2.4l SS 07's...Has a BIG problem and im very pissed.

Passed week my front left driver side has been doing a knocking sound when ever i turn left But does do it when i turn right. Pedals shake. Well this morning my car did a loud pop sound and this hole front dash/steering wheel/pedals were shaking really badly. I take it to the dealer (JAKE SWEENY) and let them look at it.. I get a called...and was told my front left rim (Which was aftermark and put on by Bob Summeral) Lug nuts 3 of them the studs broke off of the hub and only two of the Lugs were tight onto the hub. (These Were tighten with a impact) Now i Find this very hard to believe and its going to cost me 250+ to get it fixed..Btw its under warrenty. Now i told them to do it but only if they show me all 5 lug nuts and the 3 that have the studs still in the nuts. Now before i pay it and if they said they got rid of the lug nuts im calling HQ's and not paying this Cuase this is total BS.

That is bullshit man, wheel bearings always go out on these cars.
If you still have you're stockers, throw em on and go to a different dealership. Even if you don't, I would still go to a different dealership.

How long have you had those wheels on? It sounds to me that 3 of the nuts were cross threaded and not fully seated on the wheel.....that would cause the wheel to run loose on the hub and was probably in the process of falling off. Take it to whoever put your wheels on.

That's like saying you voided your warrenty for having a place rotating your tires at a place other than GM.

Call the 1-800 number (can be found in your manuel). The dealership people are like some damn pirates (sorry couldn't come up with a better analogy). I dealt with the 1-800 people and they help you A LOT more than the service people. I talked to them cause of a problem I had with another dealer and they called a local chevy dealer to me and basically 3-wayed called with me, the 1-800 person, and the service person at the local dealer to set everything up. I'd give that a shot.

Also, they shouldn't put your lugs on with an impact, ours shatter like glass. Hand tighten to 100ft/lbs with a torque wrench next time

the stock ones go on fine with an impact with a torque bar on the end. the aftermarket ones yes should be hand tightened with a torque wrench to 100ft/lbs.
