How to diagnose bad strut mounts?
can someone show me really easy methodes of diagnosing bad strut mounts, if they are bad what are the symptoms, and what are the part numbers and what should be replaced.
When mine went bad I could hear I knocking over every bump I hit. When I got it up on a lift it was super worn and loose.
can this be checked with a regular jack

totally. do you know where they are located? its kind of hard to describe... Just kind of look at where the strut comes down under your car and look at all the parts connected to it. Youll be able to identify the mount and just move it. It should not make any noise at all. it should not be easy to move.
i have read somewhere that if you turn your wheels and look at the nut its not supposed to move is that correct?, i see it move from left to right or up and down on my passenger side
