I can not find this rattle, can you?

I have a front end rattle, occurs only at low speeds, over minor bumps and its picky too, large speed bumps wont set it off, but a rough road at 15mph will.

It sounds like its coming from the front passenger side, I have replaced both Left and Right front end bushings as they were torn.

I can say I noticed the rattle when I removed the sportlines last year but I doubt a bad strut could make this sound.

Also if I jerk the steering wheel left and right at low speeds, I can hear a thud/rattle sound. I have had the car on jackstands numerous times trying to hunt this down.

I dont think endlinks can make this sound, So Im out of ideas and about to break down and just take it in for warranty work, but that is a last resort. Any ideas?

Pic of the bushings that were torn

Go out on your car and jump up and down on your drivers door sill and passenger door sill, if it clunks every time you jump then I bet this is your problem https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/prob...-worse-182520/

i had the same issue, in fact mine is in the shop right now getting fixed..ended up needing new front struts, sway bar links and bumpers..i guess the noise was coming from a loose right sway bar (all covered under warrenty)

I figured it out with the help of a friend, its the strut mount.

yet another reason why not to buy sportlines, I had them for 8k and they have destroyed both struts and a mount!
