Installing Coilovers?

How difficult is it to adjust coilovers for a newb? Installing looks straight forward but how difficult (1-10) 10 being very hard, to adjust the camber, height, etc. Would a regular tire shops alignment be able to align without f'ing things up.

A quality alignment shop can definitely align the car with coilovers(IE set camber and toe) but most will not mess with ride height without an extra charge, and few non race shops will have the scales, skills or experience to set proper ride heights and corner weights(almost noone does this, but its the right way to do it)

I would also like to know. How do you adjust the rear hight, with the spring and strut being seperate units?

Coilover has both spring and shock in the same unit....."Coil over shock" is where the name comes from. Rear looks like a hefty shock with a spring wrapped around it.

Not on the cobalt the rear shock and spring are still seperate with coilovers but the spring does still have a height adjustment

Several of the inexpensive coil0ver kits have adjustable shock bodies too, which is annoying, because there are then 6 heigh adjustments that need to be made, not just 4.
