Talked to them today. Sent him an e-mail of how I had everything installed as he requested. He said he'd call me right back. An hour later I called back because I didn't hear from him, he was gone....

Pull it all out today and fucked with it a little more. Ran out of time though and threw the stock pieces back in until I have a full day to work at it.

Can someone show me a pic of the stances installed with the wheel off? i want to see roughly how your struts and shocks are setup so I know if I am in the right area..

Heres my fronts. Not that it helps much, mine has only 2 lockrings, vs the 3 yours should have.

Yeah, I don't think my sleeve is spun up that far.

So tell me if I got this right. With the strut out of the car, you turn the top lock ring up until it securely holds the spring in place. Then you spin the strut body up to the desired height?

I've never seen a set of coil overs like this before. All the ones I have installed in the past were just a solid strut with the adjustable coil...

and with the back, I just up the rear arm until there is pressure holding the spring in place and then I bolt on the strut?

I didn't have a lot of time to work on it today so i just threw the stockers back in.

Yup, right on both counts.

Height on the front is adjusted independently from the spring pre-load.

Ok cool. I'll give it a try again on the weekend. I knew something wasn't right because it rode BAD!

Got them installed again today. Front are perfect now, but the rears are still banging when I go over bumps. How do you guys have your rears setup? Bump stop removed? etc..

I set the springs and everything in first. Then with a jack I lifted up the twist beam untill the springs were seated on the top. Bolted the strut in with the top mount hole first, then I twisted the lower mount untill it was as close as I could get it to the rear bolt hole on the twist beam. THen I bolted the rear strut in, and tightened everything down. Rides really good, and I dont hear any weird noises, squeaks, or rattles yet.

Are yours at full low? Mine are in the rear and they sound like they are bottoming out over bumps. Just wondering if anyone else has that problem and if they modified anything to give the springs more travel before bottoming out.

I installed them the same way you described.

My bump stops aren't cut, or removed. Leave them in. They protect the suspension at its extreme limit, and no matter how much you lower the car, the suspension still has a limit.

How fast are you hitting these bumps? lol, they shouldn't be bottoming out all the time. Lowered cars need to be driven carefully, i'm sure you know

Ya, I'm going slow. Like backing out of my driveway slow, haha. I took the bump stops out because Dave at Stance told me to. He also said there was something in the rears that needed to be cut out along with the bump stops. I think he was referring to the plastic mounts that hold the springs in place. I wasn't comfortable with that advise so I left them as is.

I'll throw the bump stops back in and see if that helps. But it's still going to bottom out... no?

I'm not familiar with these..but...seems like there has to be a ride height were you will not bottom. I think you want the springs in slightly tight at full droop..then you set the height.
I mean..it seems pretty basic..am I missing something?

No, that's right. That's what I did when I installed mine. I just think it is too low. There is only about 2" of suspension travel back there now.

The fronts are at full low and they haven't come close to bottoming out, they're nice and solid but still ride fairly smooth.

I don't have coil overs...but I found this pic of Pedder coil overs on car. This is at full droop. Looks like spring has some clearance here.

Here are k Sports on the car at droop...springs are also loose in the perch here:
