interchangeable calipers?

interchangeable calipers?

just wondering if the rear calipers on an ion redline would work on my lsj cobalt?

They appear to be the same calipers, should have no problem using the ion ones on your cobalt. I have the same part # listed for both cars. Hope that helps.

thanks man...I knew the part numbers were the same but i know how gm loves to throw in subtle differences in similar models...so i guess im off the the pick and pull tomorrow to grab those calipers

Yea Im fully aware of their stupid differences in parts lol but you should be fine with those. I work at a parts place, not a dealer, but still I cant see them being any different.

Just curious as well, will the brembos from a tc bolt up to an lsj or a base model?

They'll bolt up no problem. Deal is if your 4 lug, which I think all base models are, you'll have to drill the rotors or do a conversion. Then you need to find wheels to clear them.

That's ridiculous, way to big. One you'll need wheel studs cause your will be to short, two the wheel be resting on the hub it'll put alot if stress on your studs and could cause a problem.
