ion springs vs cobalt springs

Just curious if theres any difference in the 2. I found some ssc lowering springs that are coming off a Ion Redline and just wanna make sure they will fit on my cobalt ss/sc before I buy them.

I thougtht so but i remember reading that theres difference in the strut mounts and stuff so i wanted to make sure the springs were still the same thing also. I know theres slight differences between the 2 cars so thats why i made the post to verify

Just talked to the guy selling the springs and he said that "Springs are definitely different between the Cobalts and Ions. The spring diameter is different on the front or back(I think the front)."
just want to verify this with someone before I go and buy the wrong springs

They are completely different. Even the part numbers are completely different.
