Rears are the same, fronts on NA are a little softer.

i wish i had the energy to go screw with the LNF stuff. I think i need front TC strut measurements like maybe spring perch to knucle mounting hole... and ...did you say you had the struts already? and what if the knuckle mounting bolts had an eccentric thats been done before, for ez camber adjustment...and would some used Koni hoosier slicks be suitable for auto x or is it a6 or nothing? just wondering got a bunch. I am bored mcnabb isnt moving the ball consistently

Well Ill most likely have the TC dampers this week or next. I was looking at the knuckle overall height, hub location, trim heights, ride heights, the fact that they use the same end links and bunch of other thoughts and I am starting to think that there isnt a dimensional difference beween TC and SC struts.

Enlarged mounting holes would definitely give you enough adjustment room to get camber back where it needs to be.

Ill be able to run whatever tires I want since all this work is gonna put me in basically the unlimited street class Only issue would be if they have any grip when cold.

OK I am organizing a pallet and thinking , koni slicks would have more grip than street tires at certain temperatures. Hoosier A6 definitely better faster but ga spec hoosiers last forever....so many choices so little time

Did you do anything with floating setup and Brembo calipers yet? or just gonna run stock rotors?

do you have the PFC part number handy? I couldnt find it last night when I was looking to prce rotors.

Pfc rotors 311.28.0054.88 /89 ? also 3550626 this is a BMW i think sport rotor hell of a deal price/product comes with hardware for around a 100 bucks think about it..

looks like i gotta make new hats and get larger diameter PFC rotors, the problem is the stock rotors are skinny bro' hot in a chick not great for a brake... so for the moment i hate it solid rotors, but you can do the research and i will make the hats...

Thanks for the number, I dont have a PFC catalog(they are like impossible to get..... without it you need to know the part number you want in order to find the product) Alcon makes a 315x28 but they are $400 US each. Brembo has some floaters that are real close in size too, but also over $400 each.

The PFCs you use come with the hardware?(u-bolt jobbies) Wow that is a good deal.

it is but you said "Do you know if the Brembo calipers will fit a 1.10"/28mm thick rotor? If they will I can do a Wilwood 2 piece rotor setup with my bolt pattern very easily. "

also Coleman do custom rotors inexpensively but the PFC # i gave you is cheaper...shame it wont work with the brembo...gotta get the catalogue or i can ask Darrick at PFC

Yup, I did say that.....problem is I think that was before i knew how shallow the offest was on the brembos.....Wilwoods 12.4 x 1.1" rotor is actually about the same price as the PFC, but doesnt include hardware, and they dont offer premade hat that fits that rotor in anything even remotely close to the offest we'd need for the brembos........SO while I could get a 12.4" x 1.1" 2 piece(fixed) rotor to fit the 4 lug cars for probably about $325 per side.....it wouldnt work with the Brembos

So now I have to decide whether I wanna run stock setup Brembos(f they fit the 17's) or If I wanna run the GrandAm brake setup..........so many decisions.

I could always use the 15.5" ZR1 ceramic Brembos

so basically what i take from this is that with lowering springs spacers for the rack are good and can help steady out the bumps and what not, but at the same time it isnt actually necessary?

also for the rotors you all were talking about...how good are they compared to the other standard rotors on the market for our car specifically? ive been looking into getting a set..but i never considered using other cars rotor options that are set in our bolt patterns

let me answer it like this: the steering gets a lot better if you restore the car to production tie rod angles. i love the spacers but then i made them up...
the pfc rotor ($? current dont know) requires a machined t6061 alloy hat 125 each; and a 75.00 spacer to move the stock caliper out radially., the braking is superb, the leverage makes the pedal feel way better great fade resistance and super pad life. thats why we did this mod on grand am cup cars and you can use 17 inch stock wheels. so short term $ pain long term savings in pad life rotor life and great braking...all this stuff you can get on special order from OTTP good luck....
