If anyone in this forum puts air bags on their SS/SC, I will personally hunt them down and stab them in the eye with a rusty fork...........

Mine will be lowered in the spring. Hopefully we will have a few more options then. I like the Eibach Sportlines, I ran them on my old car. I want something lower than those though.

well dont' the sportlines lower it more that 2 inches.. if my car doesn't get alligned perfectly will it effect the way it drives?

I THINK the sportlines are 1.6 front and 1.8 rear so you should be okay

yes, you should get it aligned after you do work like lowering. You change the geometry of the way the components work together when you change parts.

i think the sportlines lower the car more that 1.6.. i thought the cobalts camber is really adjustable to when lowered it can be perfectly alligned.

on the eibach website is says for the base model it lowers 2.0 in front and 2.5 in rear

hows the ride on the sportlines? I don't want to look like the kid in a honda that is bouncin like he is sitting on springs every time there is a dip/bump in the road.

Get a nice set of shocks/struts and you won't have a problem, actually you'll prolly fall in love with suspension mods like me
