the springs are easy to do. and i think its just the springs you replace. dont quote me i guess you can also replace the struts if you'd like.

If you drop a 2.2, you're going to need struts. You might want to look into getting some FE5 struts from crate engine depot (stock struts from the SS/SC) with either SS/SC springs or Eibach Pro-kit springs. If you want Eibach sportlines, you're going to need Koni struts, or you can go with the FE5's and they'll most likely only last about 15k miles.

You DO NOT need new struts or shocks but eventually after allot of driving your stock struts will go. but you have a little while before that happens

it really depends on where you live. Over here in S.FL where the roads are flat and mostly smooth you can prob go over 50K without really noticing anything. where as if you go over bumps everyday you might only get 10k but u should have a good little while.my struts are starting to go now after abt 30k but i could only tell they were getting worse like a week ago. i prob can go abt 5k more before they start leaking and i officially have to get new ones.

and 2.4s have better struts than the 2.2s so they will last longer on them.

I used Eibach Pro-Kit on my 2008 Sport.. Wasn't too impressed with lowering results (although it does look 10x better) But ride quality is a lot better than the sportlines for everyday driving and roads here in NY wouldn't allow me to go to some of the places i do currently with the sportlines. I'm keeping my stock struts as well

ohh and it also depends on the drop. the lower the less time u have on stock struts.. seriously tho. dont worry abt it lol. get rid of the 4x4 look and drop tht thing to the ground =)
