Will Excel G2 stuts/shocks be good with sport lines? Also would I need to upgrade to the MOOG endlinks?

you will probably need some new end links if they are corroded in place. Good luck with your choice of springs and struts.

I installed a set of front Monroe shocks from Canadian Tire last weekend on my SS/SC. While I was installing my SSC springs I decided to change the front links as they were making noise. Well I found out why, my passenger stock shock had a busted bracket. I decided to change the two front shocks. So far so good, they're holding. I inspected them last night and they're good. Not the best shocks you can buy for the money but it's an exact replacement.

And by the way I'm super satisfied with SSC springs, my car now has 1 1/2 fingers between the front tire and fender and 2 fingers between the rear tire and fender. Ride is almost OEM smooth too!

It is! I mainly ask only for opinions, but I look around here quite a bit. Along with G5club!

gmpartsdirect.com has stock replacement 08+ fe5 struts, shocks, and springs. they are the same part numbers as those on CED but considerably cheaper. wouldn't this be the way to go? i can't imagine anything like monroe or whatever else would be any better, especially considering how much more they cost.

ZZP's website makes it sound like the KYBs are designed to perform exactly like the stock ones, but they're much more expensive. maybe i'm missing something, but it sounds like stock replacements from gmpartsdirect.com would be the best deal, unless you're actually looking for increased performance.

Monroes in the front aren't that bad, I'm strongly considering Koni yellows in the rear though.

Have you factored in shipping? They have outrageous shipping charges. Try it and check though.
They're really slow with shipping as well. Took me 2 weeks to get something from them.

well i should have known it was too good to be true.

example:
FE5 strut RH: #19181631

gmpartsdirect: $84 + $21 shipping = $105

CED: $92 + $15 shipping = $107

negligible difference.

are KYBs any better than stock? i guess they're about the same price

CED sells a whole kit for that stuff too, saving you more money.
I know nothing about KYBs.
