need to hear from people with sportlines on daily driver in cities that get SNOW
Anybody on here running sportlines on a daily driver in a city that occasionally gets snow? i really want to lower my cobalt, but I MUST drive this car everyday, and even thought saint louis doesn't get much snow, it occasionally does get 6-10inches in a good storm blast. How do your lowered cars fair in the bad weather???

stock SS's are bad enough in snow, the 1 inch drop, isn't night and day. Just make sure you buy some steelies and some nice winter tires, Its worth the 400 bucks for everything, cause the stock perelli's are not made for snow. whatsoever.

When I had coilovers on my Mustang I would always raise it up a bit and run the softest setting(even softer than stock). The Sporlines as far as i know are STIFFER than stock causing the car to react more dramatically to bumps(NOT what you want in snow) though I think what you will miss most is the higher ground clearance even if it is only an inch...you'll now get stuck in 5" snow(arbitrary number) where before you would have had no problem.
This is exactly why i'm saving up for coilovers...then I can raise it even above stock ride hight for when the snow gets thick...it'll look like poo but whatev lol.

I'm on Progress springs. I haven't winter driven with them and I don't plan to. I'm putting the stock springs back on for the winter and I'm probably going to pick up some coilovers in the spring. Rather then adjusting the coilovers up in the winter, I will just put the stock struts and springs back on for winter driving. That way my coilovers will last a long time before they need rebuilding/replacing.

we don't get alot of snow here in tn but occasionally enough to make a difference, in that case my job is sorta flexible if i can't make it one day they'll let me work my day off so hopefully roads will be clear by my next day off so i could work. i refuse to drag snow just to get to work.
