need help adjusting coils

Hey, just looking for some help since its my first time adjusting my coilover since putting them on. I have the Stance GR+. I looked on their website, adjusted the lock ring 1\4" higher since it started on the bottom. Put the wheel back on and lowered, and no change. I guess im confused how they work and would appreciate some guidance and knowledge.
Here is the lock ring up a 1/4" from bottom

the only thing u adjusted was the length of the shock in the rear from the looks of the picture.

adjust ring on the perch where the spring sits

edit: turn the rings on the perch up about an inch and u will be fine

to get the preload, keep the top of the shock bolted and let it hang, jack up the axle to compress the springs and do that 1/4 thing to adjust the shock length to match the spring

something like that, then u can bolt the bottom of the shock back up and have a good day haha

you want to adjust the springs to your desired height. then you just adjust the shock to meet/line up with the holes

a side question on the same kit: how to eliminate hard bounciness in the rear? I've turned the dampening down but it still bounces hard? should the shocks take up all the slack in the rear so the springs don't have slack when the axels down?

ill try to answer this, is the damper full stiff? and the shock should be adjusted to height of spring when compressed. 1/4 inch off from that to get it set right?

i went full stiff then backed it off 5 clicks should be close to the "sweet" spot. By compressed you mean full car weight or like like push up with a board and jack to take the slop out of the upper and lower spring mount?

what are u looking for? there is some info in this thread, you will be doing alot of adjusting to get it right. just install them as they come(fronts) then drop the car and measure what u want to adjust

the rear is easy and this thread talks about it mostly

Wheels are enkei M52. Definitly set your rears high and work your way down to your goal. I adjusted going up and had no idea how much more room i needed.. Owell lol

Maybe this is a dumb question, what exactly does it do? I know its like stretching your fenders out. Is it any easy thing to do?
