need new rear bump stops? dont want to pay for oem?

MOOG K6685 for the saturn ion, exact factory replacement for the cobalt, just doesn't list it as one. $18.05 a piece from rockauto, beats 45 a piece from CED or GMpartsdirect for OEM.



cross referenced the oem part # back to the saturn ion to see if they used the same spring perch's, works fine as shown on the redline forums, great alternative to the OEM replacements. Now when I have passengers in the car i dont have to worry about my fender well taking chunks out of my brand new falken sidewalls on the 235/40/18's its rockin.

heres how much travel is allowed now with CM springs, might still touch the fender, but hopefully will prevent it from tucking so far up under that it gouges the tire

So basically you shouldn't have cut the original ones down

Good info though, sucks that they don't realize how many things cross over between those platforms.

Yes, i should not have listened to ksport/eibach on my first set of springs lol now i have this in brand new falkens....

yes thats right, almost an 1/8th of an inch out of my sidewall, dont be like me, dont cut your bump stops.

just ordered a pair from jegs for my car. i cut mine when my coilovers were all the way down, just raised them up and figured id replace them
