need opinion on rotors and pads for LNF

i have a 2010 SS/TC but i need some opinions on front rotors and pads.

i see r1 concepts has nice drilled and slotted rotors and hawk hps pads, but ive seen and been told they really arent worth it. its mainly just for looks.

now the question is, go with r1 concepts deal? just stick with stock? or something else?

thanks in advance for the help!
