need some help n suggestions

so i installed my pedder springs like 2-3 weeks ago. i like the drop but the ride quality of my car sucks now. i have a lot of noise that comes from the back when ever i have people in the back and i hit ANY bump. big bumps sound really bad. and now in the front passenger side i have a weird clunking noise that only happens when i start moving. i don't know what it could be.
my main question is what i can do so the ride isn't too rough? like soften the impacts from bumps and holes?

any help is appreciated

Make sure you aren't hitting the bump stops, they need to be modified with lowering.

I get that clunking too, did you pay attention when putting the struts back together to seat the top of the spring in the same loaction as stock? my pass side is not right, and I think thats my clunking sound, happens on speed bumps

wtf is with the clunk! yours is pass too! ** I just read it again lol

see i had this sound before pedders, and I knew I lost the correct placement of the strut mount, but know Im trying to fix it, When I jack the car up and can twist the spring so that why I think its the mount not seated correctly

when i installed them with my friend we made sure to line up the strut/shock back to how it was. so idk what it could be.

also my main concern is making the ride less rough. do u guys think aftermarket shocks would help??

The rough ride is the nature of the beast when lowering.

Did you cut your rear bump stops? there a foam insert in the top spring seats, they did to be trimmed.

theres only top ones so yes, cut about a inch to 1.5 off. and no theres nothing that you can do, and pedders is not bad man, try riding on sportlines its like square tires! I have been on just about every spring pedders is the closetest yo stock feel, fix your bumpstops 1st, it will help.

so u dont think shocks would help with the ride quality?? also having 18's makes it worse right?

depends if you have alot miles on the shock/strut then yes or if you have had a major drop spring on them for awhile it will kill them too, Thats what happend to me with sportlines and I went over to fe5's. but if this is your 1st lowered car and going from base suspension then really its just a matter of getting use to it.

If it is a squeak/rub type noise, check and make sure the spring is seated properly on the insulator.
