need some ideas, options, recommendations.....
I'm going to change my brakes because i'm going to install stage1 zzp turbo kit in my 2.4L running it around 5-6 psi (daily driver)
and wanted to know what's the best brakes for the best price available
I was thinking on going with EBC 3GD Sport Rotors (blimp drilled or dimpled) and EBC green or yellow stuff pads
I didn't think on going fully drilled, for the reason that I read it weakens the rotors.
if anyone can give me some other ideas or better options I would appreciated
Thank you
any comments or question please feel free to ask.

I really like and recommend DBA rotors and Hawk pads, but whatever you go with remember to flush your brakes and you should really invest in some Goodridge brake hoses at same time.

I agree with Maven. I am doing brakes in January and am definately getting the braided hoses. You do feel a difference when autoxing or circuit. Less cushy than the rubber lines.

I have a question, I found a brake package from ottp for a good price, I just want to know if they are alright or need better ones. Are the rotors and brake hose are good ones, acceptable, or same as stock?
The brake package includes:
-FTP Stainless Braided Brake Hose's SS/Redline
-SP Performance Front Rotors 04-07 2.0L-2.4L
-SP Performance Rear Rotors 04-07 2.0L-2.4L
-Hawk HPS Rear Pads 2.0L/2.4L 5 LUG 05-07
-Hawk HPS Front Pads 2.0L/2.4L 5 LUG 05-07
The packages goes for $469.96
Thank you
*Note: $409.96 without the Brake hoses and about $165-$175 for the goodridge brake lines, is that price correct?

Those lines appear right, How many lines are there in there? If I remember right the ss(non LNF) cobalts all use the same due to rear disks and the 2.2 cars use a different set because we have 2 less lines that need replaced... I wanna say you should have 6 in there but I havent looked at my brake lines for a while...
I only have a 2.2, but I am using Hawk Performance Ceramic pads (wanted HPS, but got a great deal on these) along with Power Slot slotted rotors and it's SO much better than stock. Can't wait until I actually am putting down some kind of power to make the brakes totally worth it...for now I'm just running an Injen CAI and have a full exhaust (header, dp, cat-back) sitting in the garage...Trifecta tune after the exhaust is on for a MPG setup. Then when the car is paid off FI.
I didn't get a chance to install any stainless steel brake lines yet, but that will happen hopefully in the next year or so. I need to get some TC shocks/struts and my exhaust installed first.
