New Eibachs

So I took a few quick shots in the rain at night of my ride with the new Eibach Sportlines I finished putting on today, disregard the damn dirty wheels from the rain coming down.

Is that your blood in the first pic next to your wheel? If it is wow man, that's dedication right there!! Blood, sweat and tears huh?
The car looks sweet. You'll appreciate the ride too. Good job man.

Thats funny but not the other day I was painting the brake calipers and some of that fell on the driveway, I haven't had a chance to blast it off with a power blaster yet.

nice

hey, they look really nice. do they ride really sensitive? like when u hit a bump or something, can u feel the impact more? i heard that when u buy lowering springs they are more stiff and u feel little bumps more than the stock springs.

I actually didn't notice anything above stock really. I did cut the bump stops according to Eibachs recomendation, 13mm in the rear and 30mm in the front. I may eventually get a set of Koni's in the rear and just wait until my fronts blow and replace the internals with the Koni front internals that come with the front and back kit. When I was finishing up my Eibachs today I put on Mkulryz13's rear Koni replacement shock/strut and he loves them. Your not going to believe this but I did all of this really easy with a 12 volt electric "air" wrencha whopping $29.00 that cost me . It knocked all of the bolts out in no time.

Thank you, and to my surprise I went to get an allignment today like everyone says should be done and even Eibach and the allignment guy said it was dead on that it didn't need any adjustment. Maybe I am lucky, but when I was testing it out and driving it "really hard" for 10 miles like Eibach suggest I didn't notice any ill affects of putting on lowering springs. or any pull like the car was out of allignment.

Well the rears were super easy once I figured out which way to pull the springs, the front is where you need to bring a chair and your jacks and stuff and just go to town, I think total I probably spent 3 to 4 hours total thats including cleanup and test drive.

Go and get a 12 Volt impact wrench, that was the best investment. You can get all the bolts out with this in no time. It cost me 29 dollars and I am sure glad I got that. Wow it cut my time in half, and it worked great on that top nut that everyone was having problems getting apart on the top of the front struts.

Thanks for the input! I'm most likely going to get them. I'm trying to convince myself not to spend anymore money on my car and put it towards an investment like a house.
