A new noise, speed dependent howl
A new noise, speed dependent howl
So out of the blue I have a new noise, at about 15 mph and up to freeway speeds I have a howl that gets progressively worse. I jacked up the car and noticed a wheel bearing had some play up front so immediately I replaced it. At the same time I checked out 4 corners.
Basically I still have the noise and the problem was not the wheel bearing. I have since tried to turn and see if the noise got worse or quieter and it is the exact same, no difference in turns, on throttle or brakes.. I am officially stumped here. My next guess would be trans related which I pray it isn't... Am I missing another cobalt related front end flaw?
I have an 06 ss/sc G85 with 120k

My next step is to swap wheel bearings again and see if it makes a difference. I'm wondering if the LSD is keeping a load on both wheels when turning and that's why my noise is constant while turning..
