pedders for drag track?

pedders for drag track?

not sure if this has been said before or not but i dont have a autox track anywhere near me but i do have a local drag strip that i race on from time to time so i was wondering if there is any benifits to pedders springs on a drag track

Maybe a little bit, but not much. Put footballs in the springs, then you will feel a difference.

Since the give the car a "raked" stance higher in the rear then in the front I'd imagine they would be beneficial as it would help with the weight transfer when you launch.


As stated above footballs works well and is alot cheaper then pedders

wait what???

seems like that would be stiff as hell and i dont think you could get a football in the rear springs

Lift the car, pull the springs, put footballs in springs, replace springs and lower car.

Footballs are a poor man's drag bag.

Keeps the rear from dropping when the weight shifts backward on launch to minimize wheel hop.

Yeah, no need to take the springs off to install them. Just deflate them and slide them in.
