Sooooooo anyone with Pedders have the Hahn exhaust? I'm wondering if my exhaust is going to bang off the rear axle once I get the springs installed.

So after reading through the 1st couple of pages the consensus is this and correct me if im wrong

Sportlines are pure looks, but drop the car a great deal.

Pedders will drop a small amount compared to sportlines, but you gain better handling and no more bumps?

Sportlines are a softer spring than stock and coil bind when going over large bumps.

Pedders are the best spring on the market when it comes to handling and the drop is middle of the pack.

So whats pedders ride comfort compared to sportlines,
i need to know if this upgrade is worth it before i drop the cash

and its not just the large bumps, just normal driving is bumpy

if done rite, and you dont over tax the damper, added rate can lead to a smother ride as the front/rear ride rates will come more in line.

with the crazy springs i run, the car rides "better" most the time, its just much more sensitive to pitch.

What are Pedders? I don't know how to explain my question...sorry. I guess I mean do they have a progressive spring rate or what?

I guess I just have to wait to receive my suspension combo from you and install it all.

I will be so happy because right now I started a 2nd job delivering pizza part-time and I tell you FE1 struts/shocks that have 37k miles on them (15+k of which are on Sportlines) are starting to ride really poorly...I'm really not liking every bump and pothole...they're great on the highway going to my day job and back, but this short, stop and go type driving is killing me.

I have 3" exhaust and have no issues with axle rattling on pipe. As far as how the pedders ride, under normal driving if I didn't know I had pedders I'd think it was stock.

i had to remove my muffler but that was because of the exhaust not the springs CIA exhaust

any muffler shop can fix your exhaust a little

I disagree with that statement. They ride pretty good, better than sportlines for sure but not better than stock. I have the bumpy frost heaved roads to drive on so I can say that without hesitation. I put on the SS/TC shocks and struts and that was better than my SS/SC ones.

Who cares, they're going to be way better than my Sportlines with FE1 struts/shocks so that's good for me.

Wine might make the noise not sure. It sounds more like a loose shock bolt from inside the car. I dunno though, i usually can't hear it over the amazing noises the spherical TWB bushings make haha

Your pedders do the same thing, or do u have different springs. I would think all springs would make this clank soundunder the conditons in the video
