That's right. I want to see a 2.4 that the only suspension mod is the lowering springs. Brand doesn't matter, but mention what kind it is. I'm throwing on springs come spring, so I want to have an idea how much it'll drop it..

Holy good looking. Are those 17's or 18's on it? What kinda springs?

I have s/c 18's on it now, but I'm in the process of trying to get some IRL 17's..

Those are the stock 17"s, and its on Sportlines. But to me the wheels were way too small and its still not nearly low enough, lol. I still have the Sportlines on, but i've been rocking my 19"s for about 2 years now. I just wish I could complete the look with some coilovers, but I just don't have the money.

I'm with you on the coil-overs. But instead, I'm just waiting for the Tokico HP struts to come out.. Doing those when mine blow.. Installing springs in a month or so.. So I just wanted a few visual ideas.. Yours looks real good with those black/chrome wheels..

I don't get people who do a spring strut combo. You spend a lot of money on some good springs. Then you spend a **** load money on some nice adjustable struts. By that time you've spent 75% of the cost of coilovers but don't have adjustable ride height, near the amount of adjustablity for dampening, camber/caster and/or availability of different spring rates.

Strut/spring combos just don't make sense.

Well, some people, like me for instance, just wanted some nice springs from the start. Then, later down the road I wanted to upgrade my shocks/struts. Now for people who go out and buy new springs AND new shocks/struts all at once....yes, I agree....they should have just gotten coilovers from the get go.

Maybe some people don't have $1,000 at one time to buy coil-overs. Ever think of that?

Yet people can come up with $600-700 for a GOOD set of struts? What's another month or two of saving.

But that's off-topic so I'll just leave this that alone.

I was waiting for the Tokico HP ones. They're like 125 each..

I really didn't even want to buy new struts, but i know that mine will eventually go with lowering springs..

Your average $1000 coilover does NOT caster adjustment, does NOT offer additional camber adjustment, some of the them use spring preload to adjust ride height(which is fail), and as far as adjustable damping goes....I would take Koni valving and adjustment over Chiwainese coilover ANY DAY. Youre gonna spend proly $1300+ just to get basic coilovers with adjustable perches, and there isnt a single over-the-counter coilover on the market yet that offers caster adjustment at any price. No

Strut/spring combos just don't make sense.

Me? Well I looked at what the price of other Tokico HP's for different cars cost. I remembered them as not being insanely expensive. Like 150 each max..

i went with just springs and eventually might go with something like koni because the coilovers you speak of are not of great quality and the constant adjustment is not an option for some and makes them alot more expensive than the original price. while with the konis a turn of the knob is all that is necessary and both those and my springs come with a lifetime warranty... so to me that looks alot better than dropping alot of money on a set of coilovers that i would NEVER want to adjust because it would cost out the ass. just my 2 cents.

Ok, gotcha....I never looked into them, so wasnt sure where you were getting the price. Similar to Jbody is a safe bet. Are they actually making them for the Balt though? Or did they give up, like Tein?
