jus curious how these hold up, I will be getting R1 concept rotors soon and need pads. I have EBC red stuff pads now, that have been pretty good to me.
It is possible there's just not many out there using this pad. I have EBC greens, thinking about doing REDS for the next pad or Hawk HPS, just not sure if I should use ceramic or OEM on my SS/SC.
GM is starting to carry a lot of brake pad options for replacement pads. You may want to check your local dealership, and see what they have. I know they are starting to carry ceramic pads for most cars, I believe when I last checked the 09-10 SS ceramic is available.
I have an 06 SS/SC....speaking of ceramic I take it is better for the track not as good on the street? Is that how the characteristics of the pad type go?
Another characteristic that makes ceramic materials attractive is the absence of noticeable dust. All brake pads produce dust as they wear. The ingredients in ceramic compounds produce a light colored dust that is much less noticeable and less likely to stick to the wheels. I didn't want a compound that wouldn't heat up on the street enough to be useful hence the street question.....
So EBC Red stuff brake pads is one option, these posi pads...and does GM have ceramics for the SS/SC now? If so shoot me a part number please.

im running my stock pads til they die then going to hawk ceramic. sorry about the confusion
Thanks again for the info, I had read on the Corvette forums ceramic is the way to go, but also on here I've had a lot of folks swear by the Hawk HPS and Hawk Ceramic without much info on which and why ect....
I'm running the EBC Greenie, they seem to be wearing a little faster than stock so I will be going up to something like the Hawk Ceramic, Red Stuff Ceramic or another....we'll see. I only have 47K on the odo put the Greenies on at around 40K and I am told I am down to 5mm on the front at my last vechicle inspection and oil change.
