Question Question about "Active" rear shocks?

I got an 07 SS a few days ago. I had a chat with the previous owner and he started telling me things that he knew about the car. It has the LSD, which i can confirm, he put in a stage 2 with 60 lb injectors, i cant confirm 60lb but i believe him he gave me the old stock injectors. It definitely has the stage two kit.

One thing he has me confused is he tells me it has some type of active rear suspension box. And then showed me the electronics under the car in the back. He says it compensates for variations in road conditions by stiffening or relaxing the back end??!!?? Is he for real, or is this something else? What could he be going on about?

Yeah. Has two hoses, and a blue and red connector w/ wire What is it? Fuel sending unit?

Im not calling him an idiot, i just thinks he misunderstood the idiot salesman selling him the car.

Think of what a salesman would say about the car, how could that be twisted in to thinking the car has an actively adjusting rear end...?
