Question about springs

I was wondering if I put a set of Ksport springs on my car will they cause my shocks or struts to blow out or go bad early?

i dunno about the springs, but the coilovers kick ass.

you should be ok for awhile, but eventually the struts will blow. it's only a matter of time. much sooner than stock anyways.

Lots of people are lowered on stock struts with no problems.

speaking of which, is there a good strut option available yet? whenever I lowered the sumbitch, it was either coilovers or "wait for awhile"

I have 15,000 on my cobalt SS/SC. IF I lower it with springs how long until they blow my stock struts? Or will they blow my stock struts. I really like the look of the car when it is lowered. any opinions?

Personally, I fail to see the logic of doing springs alone and doing it for the looks.
