Rear Brake Parking Lever Fix?

Hey everyone I know this has probably been discussed to death but all of my searches have turned up nil. My front brakes are 100% and my rear are about 80% (just picked it up today). I have gathered that it is possibly from the parking brake setting not allowing it to fully disengage. The thing is though I have absolutely no idea how to go about fixing this lol. Could anyone gimme a run through on how I'd do this? Sorry if its been covered before!

Thanks a bunch in advance everyone!

P.S. It's only my first day with my '09 SS/TC Sedan and I am in love lol

Pull the sliding pins from the rear calipers and lube them with brake grease or synthetic grease. You want something that isn't going to wash off with water.

thanks! I appreciate it. Seems simple enough. So I don't have to adjust the handbrake itself? Someone on here recommended releasing the set nut allowing 7-8 clicks allows the brake to fully disengage. I have no idea what that means lol. Sorry I'm new to this!

The slide pins are a common problem with the TC's. GM didn't feel the need to grease them and refuses to acknowledge the issue.

Well, to be fair, I think they're greased, but the problem is that they crud up since part of the pin is exposed. The boot does not cover the entire pin.
