Rear Chamber: Anyone over at CobaltSS figure out how ot adjust rear chamber?

Hey Guys,

I'm not from this forum, but I drive a car that shares the same frame! - FML GM!

Here is a little backdrop of what the G6 has in her.... she is far from stock....

Performance: WAMS (93 octane ECM/TCM Tune), K&N 69 Series CAI, Custom Magnaflow Exhaust built with a Camaro SS Muffler and Glasspack with 4 inch double-wall stainless steel tips, Thunderbolt 8.2mm High-Performance Spark Plug Wires, NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs, Pennzoil Ultra Full Synthetic, Resonator Delete, Racingline Motor Mount Inserts, Racingline Grounding kit. (4 additional grounds from battery to front bumper for DDM tuning HIDS)

Handling: Moog Front Control Arms and Toe Ends, MotorSport .19mm spacers, Racingline STB, Koni Yellow "4 Point" Suspension -Front to Rear- (front's 2008 Cobalt SS inserts, Rear 2004 Saab 9-3 absorbers), Energy Suspension Poly Front Sway Bar bushings, Energy Suspension Tie-rod bushings, Energy Suspension Front Control Arm replacement mounts, Eibach Pro-kit springs, BMD Front Endlinks, Genuine Saab .9mm Rear Chamber Shims.

Stopping: Cobalt SS Front Brembo's, R1Concepts Premium Cross-slotted Front Rotors (2008 Cobalt SS rotors), R1Concepts Premium Cross-slotted and Drilled rear Rotors, Hawk HPS pads, ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid, BMD Steel Braided Brake Lines, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires.

Appearance: Revotec Eagle Eye CCFL Projectors, Red Calibers, 6000k 35w DDM fogs, 6000k 55w DDM lows, LED Taillights, DDM Tuning LED Switchback Turn Signals, Konig Crown 17x7.5 Rims. 30% tint in front windows, rear windows @ 15% tint

Safety & Security: Cobra XRS 9470 Radar Detector, Experimental 2mm rear mounted camera with Bluetooth connectivity to my phone, GOSHERS Universal Blind Spot Detection System w/ LED Indicators, Waze GPS App with a windshield mount for early warning for police coupled with Radar Detector (double-whammy).

Experimental: BG 44k, BG MOA, BG ATC, Custom Transmission Cooler.

I'm basically at a stand still at this point, about one thing, a manner to adjust rear chamber. I've thought about a E-centric bolt for the rear but I can't find one! - fortunately the Saab, Malibu, Cobalt, Impala, Saturn, G6, and Cobalt all share the same parts so there has to be something other than shims....

If anyone here knows of something please share!

Here is a few pictures of the car:

Forgive the car, I swear I washed it that morning, yesterday, the dam roads were damp!

There's a couple people that have done rear camber, they're all pretty secretive though. Why do you want rear camber? Are you getting wider wheels, cause I don't see you needed it with those.

I don't see the point in needing camber if you aren't going to be lower than you are. If you were going with bags or slammed on coils then I could see but really I see no point with the setup you have now.

hahaha i was thinking the same thing.

Why does the OP need "chamber" in the rear anyway ?

Here is the solution: Switch to rear drums and shim it ... if thats possible on a g6 but 90% of people will tell you

soo proceed at your own "chambered" risk

You do not need drums to shim.
Like Chris said, floating caliper bolts or brackets.

Besides, <1 degree isnt goin to drastically kill the pads or rotors. Youll just wear them with a funny slope to them.

it looks like independent rear suspension to me. if so you should be able to adjust it within the control arms somehow, and not need to worry about the brakes

And if not it look like you could undo the rear control arms and slot the mouting holes on the body to give it adjustabiliy. That is what we would do to s-series saturns when we dropped them low
