rear shock/strut

ok so with the Stance buy in coming closer and closer to a close I'd figured i would find out where the upper mount for the rear shocks are...

in my Saturn they were in the rear deck, but then again that was a traditional shock/spring assembly..

i haven't had time to check the cobalt but is it just one bolt accessible from in the wheel well/under the car? or is it in a location inside the car?

Once you jack up your car and you take off your rear tires you'll see the rear shocks. It's easily accessible, there are two bolts holding it in place, and you do not need to go inside the car for it.

well i got it all installed and sitting lower and level suprisingly!

but now i am confused... on the going lower part..... here are my issues

in the front why would i lower the perch for the spring? or do i not lower it? the back, do i really have to disconnect the bottom bolt on the strut to adjust it? considering i could barely get it in place before?

what does adjusting the nuts on the rear spring do?

thats the issue i have also ha the front clear cut as per lowering, the back on the other hand is annoying i guess hah i have to take out the bottom bolt damn...

the fronts you can do with wheel on, it is a bitch though, i'd personally take the wheel off, get it where i want it, wheel back on, goto other side yatta yatta..

You'd have to take out the bottom bolt on either front or rear to adjust height, I believe.
Front to turn the strut into the body, and rear to adjust those things the springs sit on, then adjust shock accordingly.

well when i put it all on and lowered the car down it sat where it is now in the rear looks good(unknown height difference yet) and the fronts well lets just say i tried to make a cobalt gasser apparently... but once i pulled it up on the alignment rack i lowered the front down without taking the wheels off...

the front sits erm 1.75in from top of lower nut to top of the second nut?(the smaller one before the spring one)
