Rear Struts..

Quick question i have Ksport Kontrol Pro's on the balt the rear struts i think are blown out now. Really really bouncy. Are the rear struts just OEM stock struts with lower springs? Or are the struts that came with the coilovers completely diff?

You have shocks in the rear and struts up front. Shocks are not load bearing. So, a strut has a shock incorporated into it, but a shock is not a strut. Make sense?

For your scenario, you can get any shock that fits the rears. Getting Ksports again would be foolish, since they are poor quality shocks to start with. Konis would be your best bet. Stock FE5 if you're cheap, but the Konis are far better, and would handle your severely reduce suspension travel better than stock shocks.

lolol im sorry shocks i meant.. okay thats sums it up thanks. lol I need to change the shocks in the rear its really really bouncy. So koni rear shocks would be the way to go then. Ill swap my stock ones in for the mean time to be cheap an get rid of the bounce. lol

BTW - if you slam the rear, you'll trash the Konis too. The problem is that you're just bouncing off the bumpstops all the time, and it makes for an awful ride, not to mention it will trash the shocks. The Konis will hide it, but they will die a horrible death as well, if you're sitting near the bumpstops.

If you're on coils, without preload, the ride is gonna be rough/bumpy..l

Look at the gap between your bumpstop and isolator. There should be about 2 inches at least.
