In all seriousness though, I don't understand anyone who says that they need to be careful on the street with this bar. I drive it in all sorts of cold rainy miserable conditions (40F and rainy) on the stock tires. You would really have to be driving like an idiot to break the traction available from the rear tires.

There are also multiple people that have said their REAR tires squealed. Got news for all of them. They're wrong. It's the fronts. It's almost impossible to make your outside rear tire squeal without hearing the howling front outside.

About the only thing I haven't done is driven it in the snow and ice, because I have a truck for that. But again, the tire is what will make the biggest difference here.

After my hardcore bar install. I say it is safe for the street no problem. But at an autox through a slalom I had the rear end want to rotate. But that was a very sharp non street type situation. Also at the last CED meet I was chasing powell to an on ramp took a late corner and kretty said I had a rear wheel lift up haha. The hardcore bar does at a tad oversteer in certain situations. The problem becomes, imo, people who learn how to drive with it vs people who think it makes them a better drive and get cocky.

I just think the problem is a majority of people use **** tires and have a lack of wheel time and thin automatically putting a big bar with **** tires is a good thing. Personally I don't have the over steer issues on and off the track but then again I ran a good summer tire on the street and track this year. Wasent able to get out more then once this year so I didn't buy slicks but next season ill have a set. Like wangspeed said most people mistake the fronts for rears when squeeling most of the time.

It doesn't have to be like that. people get tired of ignorance, and want to understand better about their cars. They get tired of having to dig through stuff to find the truth.

The other site, is much better and managed better than this one. Sure, we may not have as many people on here, but the core purpose of the site is well known.

exactly what deathscythe said...its better moderated, cleaner, theres not 10 million threads about a bov on lnf cars, or what coilovers are the best etc etc etc. stay there awhile and you shall see. no need to bash it.

It's the band wagon site. There is one collective opinion on everything and if you don't agree your a *******.
