Rear sway bar comparison
You put in your time, did your research and know what your talking about, I respect the hell out of that. What bugs me is the kids read these forums and just repeat over and over stuff they have heard before and that is the way allot of misinformation get taken as truth. Everyone in the cobalt community just seems so afraid to step out of the box and try new things.

i mean obviously just because theres 1 good company out there doesnt mean theres not another BUT powells parts have been proven time and time and time again...ive beaten the living **** out of my suspension. the bar has yet to warp or anything of the sort.
Can't put werks in that list of bad names. They've built their kits and one was on display during CED. Was out with us on the highway running full throttle. Dyno sheets shown. And now they are working on different things.
Plus they are making parts for the TC that are made of american materials. That much I heartily respect.
thanks for all the kind words. Its expensive to be a vendor on this site, and if people want my stuff they can just google and find me. Its not that I am invisible. Group buys we do on Ontario Cobalt Clubs dot com and on gm sc. Not always. but if you want a sway bar gb, then contact me and rather than have a big bs wind up, I will give shipped prices to anyone who asks that are very decent.
the triple X bar Wangspeed asked for, is in production along with the 1.0 and 1.25 bars ( our stock of street and hardcore is okay but needs replenishing as it is selling well)
Technically as you drive better, get better tires on the car, and understand the car better, like Wangspeed you find you want more rear roll stiffness and the way this bar is designed, the change in roll center. LS1fbody here has the stiffest of all the rear beams its a race one from time attack.
So thanks for talking about it all, and take it from me I drive deltas and J bodies every day, the cobalt with the prs bars/ T and L cabs are beasts on the street and the track....

I wasn't taking a shot at you earlier, but there is a reason why the site seems so concentrated on one thing. It's trying to make our vehicles, our piece of automotive passion the best it can be.

everyones always up for innovation but innovation doesnt always work....just like i seen some other idiot post up he doesnt like the sway bar design......explain to me how the hell else your going to design a sway bar to work with a torsion beam thats not built in.....the only other way is remove the stock one and build another one in.
Just remember, he works primarily with suspension bits. We have diverse routes to go with for all aspects of the delta.
the way john explained it to me is that there is a stark difference in body roll from my SS/NA to the SS/SC and SS/TC. I was going to get the hardcore bar and I still might but he said it will cause problems without a front sway bar with the rear end wanting to get loose. Unless I get a front Sway bar and a rear sway bar, upgraded FE5 shocks and struts then I will have a hard time handling in the rain.
Since I don't intend on going to the track, the street bar will do just fine with my SSC springs.
Ill hopefully be ordering tomorrow if I get to see what the black textured bars he's currently stocking look like. Otherwise, Ill be waiting for the powder coat run he's doing soon.

mines red. will be recoating sooner or later. wrinkle the way to go for undercar parts.
Yea, I suppose its one of those things like a rub on a body kit. Although rarely actually seen, its still in the back of my mind that its there.
Thanks for the help -- Going to push to order tomorrow morning with him and hopefully have it and installed by the saturday meetup in Nashville.
