Any bushing will eventually go bad. Shouldn't be that soon though.

Have you done any work that involved the rear suspension?

I just got done doing a small notch in my rear axle to clear the exhaust. I am lowered on B&G springs and have the GMPP exhaust so it was hitting and rattling. Just a very small notch is all that is needed to make it clear. I welded it all up and made it nice and smooth and painted it black again. looks factory.

Stock exhaust? Mine hits on the body as it goes over the axle. No way for me to fix it with out cutting a hole in the floor.

well the axle is not hitting the exhaust. the bushings apear to be in good shape. thinking of takeing out my full size spare maby thats what it is. sounds metal like tho. no signs of wear on anything to give me a clue. did this on stock springs as well
